Alban Marshall specializes in providing top up finance or mezzanine finance as well as equity for development. Each case is seen based on its individual merits and terms are flexible but general lending criteria are as follows:

  • Where a bank is providing 70% of cost we will advance up to a further 20% (i.e. 2/3rds of equity)
  • We can lend up to £500,000 (ie maximum project cost £2.5m)
  • Residential new build or conversion
  • Anywhere up to 2 hours travel from London
  • We charge Base + 2% plus 2% fee per month.
  • We can pay commission equivalent to 7.5% of the fees we receive on completion
  • No up front cost other than our legal fees.
  • We require a 2nd chage behind a mainstream lender.
